Weekly Wrap

Not much to report this week. Let's see.....

1) Adam has been sick for the last two days. He was in bed with us until 12:15 or so last night. AH!

2) Matthew is now eating solids! yay! He's not sure what he thinks of the carrots, but he sure does like the rice cereal! He also really likes his tray that has fun noise makers on it!

3) I changed my header and layout. What do you think?

4) Four more people to get presents for and I am DONE with Christmas shopping. I just MIGHT meet my deadline of December 15th.

5) I had another successful jewelry show last week! I got $150.00 in freebies! woo! :)

6) Someone brought me home a beautiful fall collection of flowers, this week. I must have been a very good girl! :) Thank you!

7) The Christmas tree is striped of its ornaments at least twice a day. Sigh. At least he always puts them back on!

8) Adam has an obsession with shoes: MY SHOES! Sometimes he likes to try on Andy's. Should I worry about this? haha.

Have a GREAT weekend, all!

An Adam Video

This is by far the best video of him, yet!

My Ghetto Baby

Putting up the Tree: A Cozy Evening In

Adam was ever so excited to put up our Christmas tree, this year. He calls all of the Christmas decorations "Christmas stuff." So when we're out, driving at night, he'll say "more Christmas stuff?" meaning he wants to see Christmas lights.

It took us the longest it's ever taken us to put up a tree- because Adam had to place each ornament in a very particular place. He even crawled under the tree, to place ornaments underneath.

We even let Matthew in on the fun and let him taste a couple of the ornaments. Oh yes, I said taste. Everything goes in the mouth, these days!!

I think my favorite part of the evening was comparing Matthew to the snowman ornament. Yes, I know, I am a mean mommy. But just look at the picture! Does the child not look like a cute little snowman????

I just love the gleam and the excitement in Adam's eyes, when he looks at the tree and the lights Andy put on the house. He's so innocent, so impressionable, and just ever so sweet. I can't wait to see him on Christmas morning, as he opens his presents from Santa and Mommy/Daddy. I can't wait to hear his exciting squeals as he opens his moving dinosaur and his road ripper pick-up truck. (The too toys he picked out, himself, without know it....ahaha)

Anyway, we spent a wonderful evening in. It was cold outside and the coziness of Christmas filled our house and made it warm!

We hope you all have a cozy Christmas as well and as much fun decorating for it, as we did!

To see more cozy shots, head over to Picture This!

PS> Be sure to read the post after this, as well. It's a VERY cute video of Adam. You'll love it.

A Cute Matthew Video

This is a video of Matthew copying daddy. It's so cute. Matthew is turning into such a person!
No such luck capturing "dada" on camera. He likes to say it when he's in his crib, and no one is around. He's a closet talker, apparently? haha.

BSM

Here are my favorite shots from last week. Ok, I have two. BUT I have two kids, and it's almost impossible to get them in the same shot! So, two photos it is. :) (wow, did anyone read this BEFORE I edited it? If I didn't know any better, I would have thought I was drunk... ahah)

Head over to Picture This, to see more shots! :)

Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving celebration started out with cookie making with Bean and her mommy! The kids had such a great time decorating thanksgiving cookies. I think Adam liked eating the cookies, a bit, too?! :)

We then had a wonderful day, yesterday! We went to Andy's parent's house for awhile and then we headed over to my step-mom's side. There was a lot of great food, fun stories and memories shared, and just a great time all the way around. Adam and Matthew got to spend time with their new cousin, Josiah, as well. Adam was very excited to see Josiah, and talked about him until he got to Pa and Nonnie's house.

Matthew and Adam also got to spend a lot of time together! I know they spend everyday together, but for some reason they really enjoyed tummy time at Pa and Nonnie's.

Today we were able to spend the day with my older sister and my mom, step-dad, and other sibs! It was a great time!! :) Thanks, Shell, for hosting!
And why is it on a holiday... Mommy still has to change 5 million diapers?! Even in my super pretty red shirt!! ;) haha. (look at how big Matthew is getting!!)

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Year Long Thankful Wrap

The things for which I am Thankful:

1) Jesus Christ- without Him, nothing would be.

2) My husband- Ok, so not only is he extremely good looking, he's also pretty good at being a husband. And by pretty good, I mean he's the perfect one for me. :)

3) My beautiful boys. What would I do without those two sets of big and wondrous eyes? I am so blessed that I (we) have been given the privilege to raise them, here on Earth. While, yes, there are times they make me want to scream, but all of those times are covered by the smallest giggle, the toothy grins, the whispers of "mama" and their joyful hearts. I am so thankful.

4) My family. Without my parents (all sets of them!) I am not sure I could go on daily. Even through disagreements and harder times, I've learned that they only want the best for me and love me. I am thankful for their loving hearts and their wisdom.

5) My friends- I have such an array of friends. Some from high school (elementary school), some a little newer, and some who are just days old. BUT, I cherish them all. They all bring such joy to my life and such encouragement. I am ever so thankful for them.

6) The things given to us- We are provided for on a daily basis. We are blessed with our own home, two running cars, food on the table, clothes on our backs, and SO much more than we need.

7) Being a SAHM- I know I joke about wanting to work and not wanting to stay at home with the boys, but in all honesty if I didn't have this ever so important job... I don't know what I would do with myself! I can't imagine not being a SAHM, and we have been blessed so that I CAN be one. I am so thankful.

8) Time- I am thankful for time because it allows me to learn and grow. I am thankful for the time given to me with the ones I love, the time I have spent with my husband and children. I am thankful for the quiet times, that allow me to reconnect with myself. I am thankful.

9) Dora- Never thought I'd say this. Thank you, football shaped head little girl... you allow for #8.

10) Last but not least.... Thank You, Juan Valdez. tee hee. ;)

Happy Thanksgiving, from our family, to yours!

"Da Da"

Yes, that's right. Matthew says it. Why is he growing at rates 10 times faster than Adam? Ok, maybe not...but it sure does seem like it!!

Also, I no longer find him in the same places I leave him...somehow he ends up 1-3 feet away... and usually on his stomach, instead of his back, or vise versa. SIGH.

Best Shot Monday

Weekends just seem to fly by, anymore! It was a good one, though. Went out with the girls on Saturday (Thanks Kim and Jess for such a fun time!!!), and had a family day all day today (Thanks family! :)).

Here's my best shot, from last week. I didn't take many pics, just wasn't in the mood... but here are two cute ones from one of the mall trips :)

Watch out ladies; he's a cutie pie! :)

Weekly Wrap

1) Matthew is FINALLY sleeping in his bed... ALL NIGHT! He slept 6.5 hours straight, last night, too! yay! (See photo to the left- This is how I found him, the other day. Look how he holds onto the little elephant toy!)

2) We finished the boys' Christmas shopping Tuesday! yayyyyy! Now I just have everyone else!

3) It snowed last night. Insanity was falling from the sky.

4) It's cold...I highly dislike the cold.

5) Went to the mall twice this week. Oh dear. I hope I don't become one of those stay at home moms. lol

6) O-H-I-O (BIG game this weekend!!)

7) Been a crazy week; I am glad it's over.

8) Saw my beautiful niece yesterday. It's so fun to see the differences between she and Adam (the boy vs. girl differences). She's such a princess!

9) Adam currently has Dora the Explorer tattoos ALL over him.... Thanks Aunt Michelle! haha.

HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

How Big My Boys Are Now

**Warning- Mommy is very sleepy...and if my sentences are cattywompus like, please forgive me. :)**

Well, today was the 4 month and 2 year check-ups. Wow. What amazing little men, I have! Here are their updates:

Matthew- Matthew is 24 1/4 inches and 14 lbs. He is in the 25 %tile for each. His head, however, is catching up with brothers. His head is in the 75th %tile. Oh dear! haha. The doctor is pretty concerned about his eczema and is almost 100% certain that he has asthma. They are going to start him on asthma medicine in two months, because there's nothing approved for little ones under 6 months of age. So, we just have to pray that he doesn't have any attacks or issues, until he can start on the medicine. If he does start exhibiting severe issues, then we might have to resort to a nebulizer, before medicine. I just hope it doesn't come to that! I was told that he will have to be on the meds for AT LEAST 1.5 years. Poor little man :(. Everything else was great! His hernia is even gone!!! yay! :) He did get four shots that made him SCREAM at decibels beyond anything I've ever heard.

Adam- This child is just amazing. (toot, toot) He is 35 inches (oh dear. That means his projected final height is almost 6 feet tall!!) and 27 lbs. So, he's tall and skinny. :) They did a verbal and motor skills assessment, to see at what age level he is. From everything they did to him (had him jump on one foot, talking to him, have him draw lines and circles, say numbers, etc. etc.) they assessed him at 3.5 years old! WHAT? I know it's just an estimate, but I am still shocked. Not that I didn't think my little man was smart, but I had no idea he knew some of the things he was telling the doctor. I'm so proud of him. And, he had a lead test, too. Why not? Who knows what toys he sucked on, or what he's been exposed to, so I went ahead and had the test done. He loved that he was bleeding; he kept saying "look mommy! Bleeding in tube!" haha. Silly boy.

And for your viewing pleasure.... More hot chocolate fun. :)

Something Fun....

A friend of mine had this on her page...So, in my style, I am stealing it! :)

I give you money and send you into the grocery store to pick up 5 items. You can only pick one thing from the following departments.. what is it?

1. Produce: - celery
2. Bakery: - Sweet Italian bread
3. Meat: Chicken
4. Frozen: Raspberry Sorbet
5. Dry goods: Pasta of any sort

Let's say we're heading out for a weekend getaway. You're only allowed to bring 3 articles of clothing with you. So, what's in your bag?
1. jeans
2. A pretty shirt or my HOH t-shirt? hmmm that's a toss up.
3. a bra (gotta have that.... lol)

If I was to listen in on one of your conversations throughout the day, what 5 phrases or words would I be most likely to hear?
1. No
2. Adam
3. Stop
4. That

(hahahah)

So, what 3 things do you find yourself doing every single day, and if you didn't get to do, you probably wouldn't be in the best mood?
1. Drink coffee... yum.
2. text messaging (I do this like a high school girl.... but it is EVER SO addicting!!!)
3. Eat at least one piece of candy

Sweet, you just scored a whole afternoon to yourself. We're talking a 3 hour block with nobody around. What 5 activities might we find you doing?
1. Taking a shower or bath all alone
2. Drive around with music blasting (oh wait, I do that WITH the kids... oh well, I'd still do it)
3. shopping and trying on clothes without a two year old announcing that "mommy have boobies!"
4. At a coffee shop, sipping coffee... all alone
5. Maybe having a phone conversation without a child hanging off my leg

We're going to the zoo. But, it looks like it could start storming, so it'll have to be a quick visit. What 3 exhibits do we have to get to?
1. manatees
2. penguins
3. monkeys

You just scored tickets to the taping of any show that comes on t.v. of your choice. You can pick between 4, so what are you deciding between?
1. grey's anatomy
2. ER
3. Lost
4. Rachel Ray (any of her shows)

You're hungry for ice cream. I'll give you a triple dipper ice cream cone. What 3 flavors can I pile on for ya?
1. Mocha chip
2. mint chocolate chip
3. Raspberry chocolate chip

Somebody stole your purse/wallet…in order to get it back, you have to name 5 things you know are inside to claim it. So, what's in there?
1. my green and pink wallet
2. my mint chocolate phone
(yup the phone and wallet match- yes, i did it on purpose!)
3. coupons
4. about 10 tubes of lip gloss (I'm not kidding)
5. my key ring of those stupid grocery store (every store!) "savings cards"

You are at a job fair, and asked what areas you are interested in pursuing a career in. Let's pretend you have every talent and ability to be whatever you wanted, so what 4 careers would be fun for you?
1. Public Relations consultant for a music label
2. journalist
3. assistant to a celebrity
4. party planner

If you could go back and talk to the old you, when you were in high school, and inform yourself of 4 things, what would you say?
1. It doesn't matter what you look like.
2. you are smarter than you think
3. You're going to have a beautiful family, someday... finish college FAST, don't drag it out 7 years! haha.
4. Your best friends now, will still be your best friends when you're 25! Keep them close to your heart. (I love you Jess and Amy! :) )

That was fun! :) Hope you know a little more about me. If you want to do this, too, feel free to! Make sure to tell me if you do it, though, so I can read a little about you, too! :)

Just a cute video

This is just a cute video of Adam, telling me all about his snack. :) Enjoy! :)

BSM

Adam came running into the living room, the other day, and was screaming "beard, beard, beard!!" And, low and behold, he had painted a beard on his face, with his markers. And then, when we went to the bathroom, to show him his new beard, he exclaimed "SHAVE!" sigh. The things they learn.

(Psst.... Look Miss Carey, at which marker he is holding ;) haha)

Here's the photo:

Struggles

So. I'm usually a very upbeat blogger, because I know that you don't want to read about my sorrows, all of the time. So anyway- I have a couple of "sorrows" that I need to write about. Maybe use this as my diary, today, if that's ok with all of you.

First, awhile back I had posted something about my health and trying to get to the doctor, etc. etc. Well, I was trying to get into the doctor for some postpartum issues I was (am) having. My doctor put me on some meds (not always the answer, I know, but in my case they are helping some) and she referred me to some counselors. What I didn't realize was postpartum, at the time, really is. I might sound naive here, but I didn't realize that postpartum issues weren't always "depression" issues, but can be other things as well. In my case, the issues are manifesting in anxiety, obsessive compulsive, and anger actions. Anyway- I can't find a counselor, now! Ah! Everyone I have called either isn't on our insurance or they aren't taking patients until January! I would think they would want to get a postpartum mother in right away, because of the issues that can evolve. So, I am praying that God just knows the right person for me and that's why I haven't been able to find anyone, yet. Who knows?! Until then, I continue to take my medicine and try to get out (alone) as much as possible, even if it's only a 10 minute drive around my neighborhood.

Next, there was a death in my family this past week, that I think is bothering me more than I thought it was. On Thursday, my cousin was found dead in his bed, by his 3 month pregnant girlfriend. They believe he overdosed on anti-depresents. Now, I haven't really talked to or seen this cousin in years, or my aunt (my mom's sister). There are many deep wounds and past actions that caused our family (on my mom's side) to not talk and to split apart over the years. The thing that is really impacting me is that fact that maybe if we had been a closer family and if we had been there for him, maybe he wouldn't have felt so alone that he did this. Maybe we could have saved him? I don't know. I also think about the deep pain he had to have been in, to do such a horrific thing. I just pray that something good comes out of all of this! Maybe a family reunion? Maybe my family realizing that they need to straighten up and learn to love each other again? Who knows, whatever it is, there HAS to be a positive that comes from such a negative and sad thing. He is leaving behind three children and one on the way. Four kids in all without a father.

Friends- I just ask that you hold you loved ones and tell them you love them. Don't be afraid to talk to them, if you feel they are going to injure themselves or someone else. Be there for one another, that's what family is for! And, if you need help...ASK FOR IT. You may think you have things under control, but if you don't ask for help when your brain (and heart) are telling you to, then you never know what might happen.

*Thanks everyone for reading! I promise happier posts in the future!*

1) Adam would wear his dress shoes, all day, everyday, if I let him! See photo the left.

2) "Ring, Ding, Ring, Ding" ahh... the sweet sound o f Sami's new collar.

3) Low-carb food. I believe I am coming to the end of my recipes. I would love to just eat pizza for dinner. sigh. At least he's still losing weight.

5) Gas is $3.19.

6) Andy and I are going to see "30 Days of Night" tomorrow. I just love me a good vampire movie! I do however hope we go to a daytime showing..... I'm a wuss anymore.

7) Adam just ate an entire bag of mini-rice cakes. Can we all say "ew" now? haha. I've taught my child to eat healthy food. How ridiculous is that? ha ha ha.

8) Once again... Juan Valdez is my hero.

9) O-H..... (C'mon Ohioans...) Almost time for that "big game" with that team "up north"

10) and last...but certainly not least.....

Oh yea, got my grades...

Doin' the happy dance. 2 A's... I rock... woo woo...woo woo.....

My GPA is back up to 3.9.... one stupid B out of all the classes I've taken, thus far... Stupid microeconomics!

Happy dance. Happy dance.

I shouldn't have to make dinner tonight. ;)

Who is Juan Valdez?

Arizaphale , my friend, this is for you:

(Taken from www.juanvaldez.com)

In 1959, the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia selected the advertising agency Doyle Dane Bernbach to launch a campaign for Colombian Coffee. The agency then created the fictitious character Juan Valdez, to symbolize and personify the more than 560,000 hardworking and dedicated Colombian "cafeteros" (coffee farmers) that depend on coffee for their livelihood, and are part of the Federation.

In 1969, Carlos Sánchez of Medellín, Colombia, was chosen to replace José F. Duval, a New York based actor, who had until then portrayed Juan Valdez. Mr. Sánchez has been Juan ever since.

******

There used to be hilarious commercials, here in the US that had Juan and his donkey in the aisles of supermarkets, following shoppers around, and making sure they chose the "right" coffee. They were seriously amongst some of the funniest commercials I have ever seen. And then there were some where people saw him on a train or in their pantry, in the mornings. They were just hilarious.

Thursday's Theme: Memory

In honor of my Sami coming home, I shall take you down memory lane.....

We call this "Bacon Kitty"

She used to jump on the fridge the moment I opened it. That was when she fit... haha

Oh yes... I can't have foliage out at all; Sami will eat it.

My favorite photo. Sami and Adam, at 3 months old.

Head over to Picture This to see more memories.

SAMI IS HOME!!!!!!!

That's right, she is HOME! :) I opened the garage today, to leave for playgroup, and she just walked right in like nothing was different. Didn't meow at me, didn't come up to me, nothing...went right for her food. haha. She is however sitting right next to me, and us purring up a storm. I missed her so much! :)

Thanks everyone for the happy thoughts and prayers! :)

Updates and Ramblings

Sami- still missing. However, there might be a lead. A woman who happened to just stumble across my blog, lives about 2 minutes from my house, and told me yesterday that there was a black cat in her neighbors yard. Maybe that was Sami? I dunno. I drove around there yesterday and drove around for as long as I could handle it. Nothing. We're putting up more signs tonight. I just want her to be ok.

School- One "A" thus far. The other prof. hasn't posted the last two grades of the class. GRR. Hopefully she will post them soon. My new classes are both gen. eds. so they aren't so bad.

Computers- Andy built Adam a "game" computer. Is this a bad idea? I decided I was going to buy a timer for him while on the computer. Maybe 15 minutes at a time? I dunno yet.
My stupid laptop died. I've not had it long either. I got it when I went back to school almost two years ago. hmmph. We don't own a desktop, either, because our house is networked (the hazard of having a husband who is a networker). Anyway, so I am using one of Andy's computers, and it's just not the same. Hopefully mine will be fixed soon!! (HINT HINT Husband...tee hee)

Life in general- Adam has been testing me quite a bit this week. He can't hear me at all, when I try to correct him or when I am disciplining him. This is hard on me. I'm struggling with motivation these days. I have goals in my head, of things I want to get done around the house and I just can't get myself to do anything. It's not good. I think it's this stupid weather. Annnd maybe the fact that I haven't slowed down in the last month.

My pretty dining room- Right before Adam's party, Andy and his dad painted our dining room. It looks SO wonderful!!! They painted it a light grey/blue with white trim. I love it!! See photo below.

Coffee- Thank You Juan Valdez........

I got an award! :)

Bradley, over at the Egel Nest, passed on his award, to me, yesterday! Bradley is a stay at home daddy, and has the cutest little 14 month old around! He gives out this award to new bloggers or to blogs that don't get a lot of traffic. Sooo... He gave me this award! yay! I feel my 10-20 comments are pretty darn good, but when you compare that to some people who get 40-50 comments, I suppose my 10-20 looks pretty sparse. haha.

Anyhoo- Thanks for the award Bradley! I put it on my sidebar! :)

Now I get to pass this award onto some of my blogging friends, too. Check out these blogs, they are quality!

Jon, Nikki, and Josiah

Cool Mama

Amy, John, Quaid and Bailey

So, my friends, post this award with pride on your sidebar... and pass it along!

Samantha Marie, the Cat

It's official, Sami the cat is L O S T! I let her outside, in the backyard, on Friday, and somehow she jumped over the fence and she hasn't been back since. I figured she would come back in a day or two, because that is what cats do, right?! Well, she hasn't. Andy called all of the humane societies in the area, today, and no one has turned her in. I am so so so sad. I cried for awhile and now I am just mad at her. Why would she run away? We've had her since the moment she was allowed to leave her mommy, 6 years ago. We picked her out the day she was born :( I can't believe it. I miss her so much. :( We are going to put posters up around the neighborhood tomorrow. I hope she comes home!

BSM- All Birthday'd Out!

What a crazy busy weekend, we had here! It was Adam's 2nd Birthday, on Saturday and the my niece's 2nd Birthday on Sunday (for those of you who didn't know, my sister and I were in labor at the same time, at two different hospitals, when Adam and Kayleigh were born!!). So, here are the best Birthday pictures!

Wanting to blow out his candle, before it was lit! :)

Practicing the blow....

Kayleigh with the "pretties" Aunt Brittany bought her!

Such a beautiful girl!

A little on the bright side, but look at how big my baby is getting! :)

Happy Birthday, Bubba!

(We're going to be busy tomorrow, so I am posting this today)

My Dearest Adam-
Two years ago daddy entered a room and announced "It's a boy!" We were so happy to finally meet the little angel for whom we waited 9 long months. Your daddy was so happy and mommy was so excited to have a little boy. The moment the doctor put you on my chest, I was in love with your eyes, your lips, your little hands, your tiny little feet, and gentle nature.

The first year was quite the adjustment for mommy and daddy. We weren't quite sure how to take care of a person who would be so dependent on us! But we took the challenge with smiles on our faces, because we had you, and you were
perfect.

You surprised mommy by being advanced in many things you did. You ate your first bite of food at 3.5 months old, you crawled at 6 months and you walked at 9 months. Mommy thought she was going to go crazy trying to keep you out of everything, because you were (and still are) SO curious. You got into everything.... but your favorite place to look was the refrigerator.

As you grew you became more and more of a person. You watched Veggie Tales and fell in love with Dora and Blue. You decided that singing and dancing was fun, and popping bubble wrap could entertain you for hours. You found that you really liked to eat, but mostly healthy fruits and veggies, especially apples and popcorn.

Your best friend is Bean and I think you kinda like her, too. Bean couldn't wait until you could play like her, and just knocked you over until you were able to push back. haha. Now, I can't imagine seeing you, without her at playgroup.

Your first year ended and we threw you a BIG party with all of your family and friends. Mommy cried a lot, because she was sad to see you growing older; mommy wanted you to stay a baby forever.

The last year has been such a learning experience for you and you have become such a bright and amazing little boy. You impress mommy on a daily basis with the things you say, the love you have for your family and your friends, the way you want to help out with your brother, how you help mommy feed Sadie and Sami, how independent you have become, the way you're not afraid to try ANY food, the excitement in your eyes when we pass over the "river" or what you call the "gungle" (jungle), how you love to write "A,M,A" and count "2, 7, 9, 7,9" (at least the pattern of numbers is always the same! haha), how you love to draw circles, how you sleep in you big boy bed, how you want to potty train yourself (ah!), and how you're just "Adam" and so very unique and special.

Adam, mommy can't wait to see how you change this next year. I am so proud of the little boy you've become, even with the new found opinion you have! Your big brown eyes and curly blond locks, make me smile on a daily basis. Your stinky little feet and your marker covered hands are so special to me. Your addictive little giggle and your fake hiccups are cute, and you know it. Adam, mommy loves you more than you'll ever be able to comprehend. Daddy and I are so blessed that God gave you to us. We prayed for you before you came and we pray for you now. We pray you continue to grow and to continue to become the boy, and someday the man, God has planned for you to become.

Adam Frederick, I will love you forever and ever. You are my sunshine and you make me happy when skies are gray.

I love you, forever-
Mommy

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY Little BUBBA!

Weekly Wrap

1) Adam made it 1.25 hours trick or treating. I truly think he would trick or treat every single day if we let him. haha (See photo of him leaving his first house with his Nonnie)

2) Tomorrow is Adam's last day being one. I don't think I can handle having a two year old :(

3) Matthew is sleeping in his BED right now. Not in his swing or in his bed in the carrier... but in his bed.

4) Finals are OVER and I am SOOOO glad that this trimester has ended.

5) We cut open the pumpkins, tonight. Yea, I know, we are terrible parents for not carving one this year.... oh well. Anyway- we cut open the pumpkins tonight and roasted the seeds. I am in pumpkin seed heaven!

6) I can't wait until voting occurs on Tuesday. If I see one more political commercial, I might puke.

7) It's supposed to FROST tomorrow morning. Oh dear.

8) I've been on my knees more time this week than I can count. God is faithful.

9) I get to paint (with food color of course) a cheesecake red, for Adam's Birthday and then top it with little Dora characters. He requested a cheesecake... what kind of kid requests a cheesecake at 2? Oh right, mine.

10) We (ok, mainly Andy) have painted the dining room and re-arranged the family room.... and Andy has only been done with school 5 days. I think he's bored. I'll gladly let him do my homework.

I love me some Pooh Bear :)

I know I already posted about my dad winning the chef's challenge, but the website finally put up a really great shot of him with his dish and award.... So, I have to show it off!
